Mackenzie Haehl is a multidisciplinary artist based in Phoenix, Arizona. Inspired by desert sunsets, local wildlife, and the vibrant Phoenix art community, her work reflects a deep connection to place and community. She holds an art degree from Tulane University and has lived throughout the United States, including the Pacific Northwest, Northeast, and Southeast—experiences that continue to shape her artistic perspective.
Living with chronic illness, Mackenzie is a passionate advocate for accessibility, neurodivergence awareness, and community care. Her love for animals is central to her practice, and she specializes in custom pet portraits that honor the emotional bonds between people and their animals. While she has a strong background in realism, she also enjoys exploring abstract painting as a way to reference the complexity of the human mind. Through murals, volunteering, and community-driven projects, Mackenzie believes in art as a hands-on, connective force.
